Website and hosting
The website is provided through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Technical processing includes IP addresses, access times, requested addresses and browser and device information. This is needed to deliver content, diagnose errors and protect against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.
Technical access data is received by the hosting and infrastructure providers involved. Technical logs are needed only for as long as required for delivery, error analysis or investigation of security incidents. The specific provider retention periods and international processing arrangements depend on the hosting configuration and the applicable agreements.
Contact and non-binding enquiries
The trial-pass and retreat enquiry helpers create an email draft only in your browser. The website does not transmit these entries to the studio, a form service or its own database. It does not store them in cookies or local storage. You can reset them using “Clear entries”. This clears the page’s form and draft; it does not delete text already copied to the clipboard or drafts saved in your email application.
You decide whether to open the draft in your email application or copy it and send it yourself to contact@pankajyoga.de. Opening passes the draft to your email application; copying places the text on your device’s clipboard. Neither step sends the message. If no suitable email application is available, paste the text into your webmail service or telephone us. An enquiry creates no payment obligation and is not automatically confirmed.
When you actually contact us by email or telephone, we process your sender and contact details and your message. Class and retreat enquiries are handled to take pre-contractual steps at your request under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is answering correspondence addressed to us. Email providers process the information needed for transport and mailbox operation.
The helper asks for your name, yoga experience and preferred classes or attendance to prepare a useful draft; additional fields are optional. You can contact us directly without using the helper. Please limit your message to information necessary for the enquiry.
Enquiries are deleted when resolved and no longer needed. Further storage of contract records or records needed to meet legal retention duties or establish or defend claims is determined by those purposes and duties. Statutory retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Creating a local draft does not subscribe you to a newsletter, give photo consent or make a payment.
Earlier form enquiries
Before the change on 22 September 2026, online enquiries were sent through FormSubmit to pankajyogaretreat@gmail.com. The website no longer uses this submission route. Earlier enquiries may still be held by FormSubmit and in the former Google/Gmail inbox. FormSubmit states in its documentation that the form archive is retained for 30 days; this does not automatically delete emails in the inbox. Access or deletion requests for earlier enquiries can be sent to contact@pankajyoga.de.
Health information
The enquiry helper and general emails are not intended for health information. Please do not submit diagnoses, pregnancy, injury or treatment details. If you need adjustments during class, arrange a private conversation first without entering medical details.
Health data receives special protection under Article 9 GDPR. Any separate processing that may be needed must first be clarified as to purpose, scope, legal basis, access and retention. A general class enquiry or attendance does not provide explicit consent for this.
Photographs and video
Photographs and videos may be used to present our yoga work on this website, in printed materials or on social media. Consent-based recording and publication of identifiable participants requires separate, voluntary and informed consent for the specific uses. This also applies to identifiable people in group photographs. Attendance alone is not photo consent; declining must not disadvantage participation.
The legal basis for such use is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for future use by contacting contact@pankajyoga.de. This does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Following withdrawal, the relevant material will not be used anew and will be removed from digital publications under our control. Printed materials already distributed and third-party copies cannot be fully recalled. Recordings are deleted when consent is withdrawn or the purpose ends, unless another legal reason requires limited further retention.
Cookies, local content and external links
The website code does not embed its own analytics or advertising trackers or external image or font services. The enquiry helper does not use cookies or local storage for your entries. Technical processing needed to deliver the website is described in the hosting section above.
Instagram, the retreat venue and other external services are ordinary links. Opening a link takes you away from this website; the provider then processes data for its service according to its privacy notice.
Google Maps as an external link
No Google map is embedded on this website. The studio address is available as text. Google’s external website is contacted only if you open a link labelled Google Maps. Google may then process your IP address and device information and use cookies. See Google’s privacy policy for details. You may instead use the address in a map service of your choice.
International processing
Hosting and email services and earlier enquiries received through FormSubmit may involve processing outside the EU or EEA. In addition to the relevant processing basis, the requirements of Articles 44 onwards GDPR apply. The specific providers, accounts and contractual safeguards are relevant. Information about these arrangements and earlier transfers may be requested using the contact details above.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
Objection: You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you usually live or work or where the alleged infringement occurred. For the Frankfurt location, the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information is a point of contact.
The website does not use enquiries for automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects or corresponding profiling.
